Data collection
We only collect personal details (such as names, phone numbers and email addresses) submitted voluntarily via contact forms or scholarship applications. For members and programme participants we may additionally hold the information required to administer membership, instrument loans and ensemble activity, such as a postal address, the guardian's contact details for a minor, and the instrument on loan.
Use of personal information
Data is solely used to communicate regarding music programs, process scholarship requests and send organizational notices. We never sell, share or lease personal data. Processing is based on your consent, on the performance of a membership or loan arrangement, and on the association's statutory obligations such as bookkeeping.
Storage, retention and security
Records are kept only for as long as they are needed for the purpose they were collected for, or for as long as Finnish accounting and association legislation requires. Access is limited to the board members and volunteers who need it for their duties, files are password protected, and paper documents are stored securely at the registered office.
Service providers
The association uses ordinary email, accounting and website hosting services to operate. These providers process data only on our instructions and under data processing terms consistent with the GDPR. Data is not transferred outside the EU/EEA unless an approved transfer mechanism is in place.

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies and does not build visitor profiles. Any cookies used are strictly necessary for the site to function.
Minors
Many of our participants are under 18. Enrolment information for a minor is provided by a parent or guardian, and photographs of young players are published only with the guardian's separate permission.

You may also object to or restrict processing, withdraw a consent you have given, and receive your data in a portable form. If you believe your data has been handled incorrectly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman.
